About the product
Realistic training with the correct equipment
Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) Blue Trainer is a training version of the CoTCCC-approved CAT Gen 7. Its blue colour makes it impossible to confuse with live equipment, while its function is identical to the black and orange versions.
The same mechanism — the correct muscle memory
Training equipment that differs from the original creates incorrect muscle memory. CAT Blue Trainer has the same single-routing-buckle friction adapter, the same windlass and the same Red Tip Technology as the live version. The only difference is the colour. This means that every training step transfers directly to real use under stress.
Use and storage
CAT Blue Trainer is reusable for training purposes. Repeated use will, however, wear the elasticity of the strap — check regularly that the buckle locks correctly. Never relabel a blue trainer as live equipment.
