Snigel
Snigel Design is the shop's most important brand, and the range is built as a system rather than as separate products — carriers, pouches and inserts are made to be combined with one another.
Everything we carry from Snigel Design in one place: pouches, backpacks, belts, vests and harnesses, duffel bags, hook-and-loop patches, notebook covers and flame-resistant garments. Colours are grey, black and olive green, plus a high-vis yellow line for roles where the equipment needs to be seen.
Frequently asked questions about snigel
Where do I start if I want to build a Snigel system?
Start with the carrier. Decide whether the equipment will sit on a [belt](/collections/belts), in a vest or in a [backpack](/collections/backpacks), and buy that part first. Then choose the pouches based on what actually needs to come along and how quickly you need to reach it.
Do Snigel pouches fit other equipment?
The attachment system is MOLLE, which is the same grid regardless of manufacturer, so the pouches normally fit carriers from other brands too. Check that the number of webbing rows is enough for the pouch's width and height. The exception is parts made for a specific attachment, such as leg panels and inserts for a particular backpack model.
What do the numbers in the product names mean?
They are model designations that distinguish versions — 1.0 and 2.0 for generation, -09 and -17 for older series. Several pouches come in both an older and a newer version, sometimes with different dimensions and colour. So read the full product name, including colour and size, before you order.
Which colours are available in the range?
Grey and black across the whole range, olive green on several of the pouches, belts and backpacks, and a high-vis yellow line with radio pouch, handcuff pouch, baton holder and equipment vest. Not every model comes in every colour, so check the colour in the product name when colour matching matters.
