Frequently asked questions about duffel bags
Which size should I choose?
Choose 55 litres for a personal kit over a few days — a change of clothes, a sleep system and shell layers. Choose 90 litres when you are transporting all your equipment or shared equipment for a group, or when the load is bulky rather than heavy. Many people have both: the large one for transport, the smaller one for individual shifts.
Can the bags be carried as a backpack?
Yes, both models can be carried on the back. It is mainly a transport solution for stretches where you need your hands free or where the ground does not suit carrying by the handle. For longer carries under load, a proper backpack is still more comfortable.
Can pouches be attached to the duffel bags?
A duffel bag is primarily a transport shell, not a carrying platform. The pouches in the range are made for the MOLLE grid on belts, vests and backpacks. If you want to keep things organised inside the duffel bag, the collapsible organiser pouches work well as loose inserts without being attached.
